Resumen

La conexión entre las agencias privadas de empleo y los sindicatos pone de manifiesto en términos muy expresivos los efectos que el crecimiento de estas entidades ha producido en los mercados de trabajo. Aunque puntualmente pueden encontrar puntos de interés comunes, la relación entre unas y otros va ser casi siempre de conflicto. Los sindicatos, en su acción de representación y defensa de los trabajadores, deben procurar la equiparación de condiciones entre los trabajadores de la agencia privada de empleo y los de la empresa cliente. O incluso desarrollar ellos mismos la actividad de intermediación laboral. En todo caso, las tendencias normativas ponen de manifiesto que el amplio reconocimiento que de ellas hizo el Convenio 181 OIT pone en peligro algunos de los paradigmas sobre el trabajo decente que esta organización preconiza.
