Abstract
This paper focuses on the reflections of Carlos I. Massini Correas on the subject of human rights. The legal philosopher devoted numerous works to the various problematic issues arising from the notion of “human rights.” His purpose was to explain the contemporary notion of human rights from the perspective of classical realist natural law, and this paper therefore aims to determine to what extent it achieved its goal. However, beyond the numerous scattered articles referring to specific problems posed by the subject, the Argentine intellectual never produced a comprehensive work that addresses it, considering all relevant aspects within the scope of legal philosophy. Therefore, this research also aims to gather, synthesize, and systematize the reflections on human rights that Massini Correas developed during his long academic and intellectual career.
