Abstract
Filing a legal action has substantive and procedural effects. In labor matters, the “requirement” expression contained in Civil Code, article 2523 N°2, must be understood as filing a lawsuit in courts, which is a substantive aspect of a legal action. As a result, a legal notification is not required to interrupt civilly the statute of limitations.References
